Among the topics covered in the first episode is the recent stress test featuring 30,000+ (mostly simulated) concurrent players on the same contiguous planet, and a talk with founder JC Baillie, who I interviewed last month -- when he explained why Dual Universe is his team's attempt to create the metaverse. Speaking of contiguous planets, when we wondered how long it would take to walk the entire circumference of the main world, JC got out his calculator app, and started estimating:
... and now that I'm looking at my notes, I realize JC's answer isn't there -- asking him now!
Update, 4/30: JC tells me: "About 22 hours to go around Alioth, if you run!"
