Here's a newish machinima from Splinter Smirnov and Chris Mumblewood, masters of weird, pop eye Second Life machinima, this one a creepy hilarious spoof on fashion vlogger drama. At first I thought it was about SL fashion bloggers (lord knows that sub-subculture has high drama), but Splinter tells me it's a spin on another vlogger drama I'd forgotten:
"It was inspired by the rumors that were circulating about Youtuber Marina Joyce a few years ago," Splinter explains, "due to her odd behavior and strange facial expressions and bruising on her body during her fashion vlogs, people thought she was being held prisoner and being forced to make the videos against her will. It was spurred on further when she posted a tweet 'Hope Everyone Likes Pancakes' because the first letter of each word spells out 'HELP'."
