Cajsa's Flickr Pick: Guess Which CybeleMoon Images Are from SL or IRL

I know it’s just been three months or so since we checked in with CybeleMoon, but I think it’s time for another round of, "Is it life or is it Second Life". 

“Revered”  is a beautiful and haunting backlit photo of a woman between some standing stones. CybeleMoon lives within driving distance of standing stones so are they life or are they Second Life? This time, they are in the Mystical Fae Forest in Second Life.

“Oh very young what will you leave us this time” frames three young women in swimwear on the beach with backlit foliage though light peeks through to reveal a few pink flowers. The colors are desaturated so the pinks and blues give it a fantastical feeling that would be well at home in Second Life, but this time, the picture comes from first life. I love how CybeleMoon’s real life photos are full of magic and fantasy as those from SL.

This time I am not telling. You will have to click through to “At the Lagoon” for the answer. The face reflected in the water seems almost like a new Ophelia haunting the lagoon. I love the vibrant contrast of the lily pads and the black water. This is a haunting fantastical picture, so it life or Second Life. 

I love CybeleMoon’s photostream, not just the beautiful photos and the mystical fantasy, but the joy I get out of guessing, Is it live or is it Second Life?  If I were clever, I would make this post into a quiz, but you will just have to click through and play solitaire.

I love Cybele. She is one of my dear friends. I have her permanently featured in the footer widgets of my site! Her art is a lovely combination of RL and SL and so hauntingly beautiful... dreamy. She is hands down one of my all time favorite artists in Second Life.

oh my this is wonderful!! Thanks so much for featuring my work once again. oh let me let you in on a little secret the last pic is a mix- the lily pads were just popping up from the bottom of the real life lagoon and voila the Lady in the Water floated up with them!!!
