Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
“L'ombre de soit même” by Tim Deschanel caught my eye. For some reason, it made me think of “North by Northwest”, Cary Grant and the crop duster. Perhaps it is the sense of running in isolation, his echo, his shadow, and he.
Deschanel shot some great pictures of sculptures. He did not make the common mistake of assuming photos of art did not need to be artful themselves. By placing the piece to the left, he gave the subject space into which to look.
Here Deschanel put himself in the artwork. It’s a cheeky, fun photo. He also uses thh Rue of Thirds to set the horizon.
Tim Deschanel’s photostream is a lovely visual tour of Second Life complete with SLurls. He also has photos of him and his partner exploring and having fun such as horseback riding.
