Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I love the fulsome background settings in Nekotto’s pictures. This is a consistent feature in her pictures as you can see by comparing this 2017 favorite #762 to more recent photos. I love this one because it appeals to me on a personal level. I am that person who bends down and pets the cat even when it’s raining. I did that very thing last night, rushing to catch my ride, even using a cane, when a neighborhood cat rushed in front of me to flop over for pets, I had to stop and scratch his ears. I love how complete this set is, the bike, the motorcycle, the signs, and the rain all come together to tell us a story.
“1042” is more recent and a clear illustration of how consistently she has placed storytelling at the forefront of her blog photos. She styles an outfit and builds a perfect setting to reflect it at its best. I love this set with the fairground in the background. Her outfit has the circus/fair aesthetic down to a T and it comes together with great congruency. Nekotto is a storyteller.
Nekotto is on the job in “1033.” Here she is telling the story of being a flight attendant with the same attention to detail. There’s the plane, the passenger, and the soda trolley. Her outfit is simpler than usual because it is a uniform and it looks like what it is. I love her effort to tell a story and be true to the clothes and setting.
Check out Nekotto’s stream. Every picture is complete. Be sure to check out her blog, too, particularly to see how she creates her settings.
