Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I thought I found a new slice of SLife artist in 3*3, but then I checked the blog link and discovered she is Tamary9, whom I featured in an interview in January 2018. However, it’s been almost two years, so why not a visit again this incomparably gifted Slicer of SLife. In 19112, we catch our subject heading out for the day. I imagine her off to school. It’s sunny now, but the forecast is for rain. She plans ahead! The use of sunlight is beautiful.
Every dog owner knows this feeling of coming home to discover Roffe (I am just using a common dog name) has been busy while you’ve been gone. Why do dogs like shoes so much? The position is perfect. Roffe has the solemn expression of the dog well aware that the day’s work may not be appreciated. The subject is looking at the dog while straining to remain calm. You see the tension in her clenching hands and downturned mouth. You know, though, she’s a good human and will remain composed. What is truly hilarious, is that this scene is repeated again and again, though with different moods. I laughed out loud at the one where the dog had turned his back on her. Is Roffe mad she brought home flowers instead of kibble?
I once just tossed my keys in the house and locked the door, locking myself out, when I came home to find my couch stripped down to the boards and springs without a single piece of upholstery and stuffing remaining except the bits under the staples. There was fluff and stuffing about 8 inches deep spread throughout the house. What prompted such destruction? I sprayed the couch with dog repellent to keep Roffe from getting her hair all over it. I had a book and sat on the porch and read until a friend who had a spare key got home from work. By then, I was less angry and more amazed by the totality of destruction, the determination to leave nothing.
I particularly love Tamary’s pictures with cats. There is just so much naturalism in how she puts the scenes together to express that companionship. Throughout her photostream you will find so many photos of her and her cat looking out at the world and I love them all.
There is not one boring picture in Tamary’s photostream. It’s full of sunlight, everyday life,, friends, and critters just living and loving Second Life.
