Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Sometimes I come across a photo I love and then I forget it. Asked to come up with my favorite photos of the past year, I thought it might be fun to go through my favorites and find some lost ones that I forgot, misplaced, or otherwise left behind. “Waiting for a rainbow” by Bisou Dexler is such a lovely picture. It’s not just the array of blue on blues, but also the sharp edges of the hydrangeas. There is a simplicity in this picture that shows real confidence. You can see that in Dexler’s entire photostream.
“Hello Sunshine” by Jes Mode is just one from another wonderful stream of photos. I must have come across it when I was feeling lazy about screencapping when the embed code is so much easier. The title is perfect, that little bit of sunshine illuminating the book, so welcome when reading. I love the angle of the picture, too, the cat’s eye view.
“In the old days” by Jarrinea Babii is a highly detailed vintage photo. I love the embossed texture of the suitcases and how a texture layer adds definition and depth. It’s an extraordinary photo. If you like landscapes, her stream is full of lovely shots that would make wonderful calendar photos and cards.
You’re welcome to check out my faves on Flickr. I like all sorts of pictures from landscapes to headshots and everything in between.
