Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Wow! I love “Crimson” by Jarla Capalini. It’s very Richard Avedon. It’s a stunning fashion photo with a perfect pose highlighting the hat and bracelet.
“Saying nothing sometimes says the most” delights me. This avatar’s face seems so natural, so happy to be here, and yet not the least bit uncanny. Yes, there is a bokeh effect even though the light comes from the front, not the back, but there is some sunlight behind her. This avatar’s face seems so natural thanks to sophisticated use of FaceApp in post-production
the increasingly sophisticated mesh head animations and Bento. She looks so happy to be here, and yet not the least bit uncanny.
“Yes I Can” has a wonderful pop art feeling. I love how the yellow stripes are affected by the light and are such a contrast to the smaller striping lines of black, white, and red. I love the color story, the use of lines, and the lighting.
Jarla Capalini’s photostream is such fun. The photos are striking and full of life. Many of her photos seem like stories, ice skating, with pets, and more. Be sure to check it out.
