Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Sesen Wingtips has a lovely photostream of dreamy, romantic photos. “We often meet our destiny on the road we took to avoid it” is a naturalistic picture of a woman walking down a city street on a windy day, but it would not be one of Sesen’s pictures without the touch of the fantastical, the shower of umbrellas.
“Just us” feels like a metaphor to me of how you can feel like the only two people in the world even among a crowd. The subdued and limited color story enhances the sense of being just two. The curve of light suggests an entire world. I imagine that really there are dozens of couples on the dance floor with them, but they are immaterial.
“Reflection of hope” uses the mirror quality of SL water in a gorgeous photo. A flower is an excellent metaphor for hope when you see them growing incongruously between a crack in the sidewalk. A rose growing out of the ocean is even more unlikely, but let’s go for it.
