In case you missed it (and it sort of fell off my own radar during the whole global pandemic thing), there's an update to the early March news that beloved Linden Lab staffer Torley departed the company after 14 years: He along with some other Lindens have moved over to Wookey, the obscure company with no game/VR development track record that recently acquired Sansar, to continue developing Sansar:
"Yes," he posted a few weeks ago on the official Sansar Discord, "many of your old fave ex-Lindens, now Wookey-(suffix TBD) are back in action... we'll have more to share soon!"
As for what they've been sharing on social media about Sansar, it's mostly featuring the virtual world as a platform for immersive live music shows:

And music, come to think of it, is Torley's primary passion, since he was a composer before even coming to Second Life. And remains so as you can see and hear here.
Most of my early in-game reporting videos from Second Life, like the one above, used music made by him. So while it's sad he's no longer contributing to SL (at least in an official capacity), here's hoping he gets to thrive in a music-facing metaverse (as he may likely be meant to do).
As for what to call ex-Lindens now at Wookey, really seems no better choice besides "Wookeys" -- least not until the lovely lawyers from Lucasfilm come calling.
Hat tip: Reader "Burstup" in Comments.
if they stick with Sansar name then
