Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Prophet ● is one of those slice-of-life photographers I admire so much. They have the patience to put together a scene, the furnishings, the mess of life, the pose, the clothes, and the lighting, all to capture a moment, a fraction of a second in a life. But a fraction of a second that will live forever or as long as Flickr. “Sing, Sing, Sing” is brilliant. There is the second-hand furniture, the snacks, the dog, the messiness of it all. This feels like living.
More slices of life ahead!
“Try a Little Tenderness” shows that mix of messiness and music continues in the bedroom where he has stacked up books with artwork and flowers while he scribbles his compositions and learns the classics. The cat seems to be a music critic. He needs a music lover. I turned on “Low Tide” by Rock Candy Funk Party yesterday and my cat stuck her head in that little depression in the speakers as though she wanted me to turn it up.
“Coffee Break” suggests he, like many musicians, has a day job to keep body and soul together while he builds an audience. I bet he makes a great cappuccino.
Prophet ● is a great photographer of life in Second Life. His SL reflects the world as well so he has produced a picture to celebrate “Pride” which is this month. He also produced “Fight the Power that Be” which is a powerful indictment. All those names, and so far only a few of the killers have faced a trial and only one has been convicted. It is a list of injustices that grow longer all the time.
So yes, do check out his photostream to see his view of life and Second Life.
