Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Iwajin Ormega’s “016” shows how he likes to play with color. This picture is all about green. It’s a good picture, adding a bit of interest by making the wall at a diagonal. He’s using the rule of thirds, keeping the picture off center and dynamic.
More playing with color right ahead.
The opposite of green is red and “015” contrasts with the previous picture in many ways. He’s using two projectors to get two shadows. He is informal rather than formal. He’s closer to the center, but he adds energy with his shadows and framing with a soft black edge.
“013” uses blue. This is another informal shot this time set at an angle the bisects the picture diagonally. He uses lighting to illuminate and obscure. It’s a fabulous picture with so much to catch our eyes.
It is well worth lingering on Iwajin Ormega’s photostream. He loves to play with light and color and it is fun to see how much he accomplishes without complicated backgrounds.
