Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
“A Touch of Dim Sum Gardens in Second Life” is one of many travel posts from the prolific historian and explainer of Second Life, Inara Pey. Here she explores a beautiful Asian-inspired full sim with gardens, statues, and so much to see she discovered new things on her second visit. There are several photos and a well-explained travel tour of the Gardens in her post.

Another post with what seems a fun challenge below the cut:
This is a more typical post from Inara summarizing a recent meeting of the Simulator User Group, but it was enlivened with a fun challenge called the Blake Sea Challenge. On the Aditi Beta grid they have cloned the Blake Sea. [As featured here on NWN yesterday - ed.] There you will see a red egg, click on it and wear the object. It will give you directions for sailing, motoring, or flying around 46 regions without doubling back. Sounds like fun!

Living in a Modem World is my go-to-blog when I am confused because she has this matter-of-fact way of explaining things that assumes that readers start innocent but catch on quickly. She seems to know intuitively what needs explaining, but avoids getting into the weeds. She reports on viewer updates and Linden Lab meetings. At the top of her blog, you can see that she has several topics with drop-downs to let you navigate to more specific subjects, so you can easily find what you are looking for. There are also several tutorials that make SL a much easier place to enjoy. Seriously, check out her tutorial on Viewer Camera Presents. It’s invaluable.
