Friday Fashion Blog: Get SL Shopping Ideas from Maria DellaCroix’s Sweet Art

Maria DellaCroix’s blog is called Sweet Art which sounds like sweetheart and that does seem to capture her aesthetic. Post No. 806 is a recent post that drew my eye because of the totally perfect way her jeans and her sneakers work together. It helps they are made by the same store. The playful cat ready to untie those sneakers is a sweet touch. Unfortunately, Kitty is not credited.

Post No. 802 gives us Maria in an adorable black outfit with balloons and neon wings. Imagine! Neon Wings! This is a post where she meticulously notes all the details, including the balloons.

The blog layout is quite simple and clean without an overload of widgets. The masthead has her logo and links to the home page, her Facebook and Flickr, and a page of her sponsors. On the left, she has her archives and the most popular recent posts. On the right, she has a link to her Blogger profile which has been sadly neglected. She should have her picture and details about her blog, perhaps a review policy, and links to all her social media. At the bottom of the page, which is not one of those infinitely scrolling pages, there is a link to subscribe in the footer. I would just get rid of the footer and move the subscription to below her profile on the right. Everything is accessible without tons of scrolling, but her SL bio is scant and should be more complete. 

The best feature of her blog is her photography, always clear and featuring the clothing well. She usually credits everything, including the animals in other posts, so I think the cat was an oversight.
