Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Nadja Baxter has been blogging since at least 2007; Old Guard, indeed. Her original blog was called GermanStyle but now she has an eponymous blog, Nadja Baxter. It’s important to know that her blog has more pictures than her Flickr stream and her photostream has pictures that never make it to the blog. There are a few candids, shots of friends, and microblogs on her stream. The blog posts have several photos the better demonstrate the outfits. You really need to follow both to see her prodigious output in Second Life. I like the outfit in this recent post.
- Mimikri - Cropped Cardigan / Gloria Fatpack At Uber
- Mimikri - Flared Pants / Gloria Fatpack At Uber
- Mimikri - Fur Scarf / Gloria Fatpack At Uber
This next outfit has a coat for taking names and cashing checks:
One of the reasons I love Nadja Baxter is that her posts are about clothes. I like lingerie as much as the next person, but am bored by blogs that are nothing but lingerie. Show me clothing! Show me clothing that does not show your thong! Show me something powerful like this gorgeous coat from Thalia Heckroth.
- Thalia Heckroth - Asala Thigh High Boots
- Thalia Heckroth - Rania coat
- [DDL] Here (Black SE) (Crossbody)
Nadja’s blog is very straightforward with large pictures and simple sidebar on the right. It has some recent posts and a SL Blogger Network logo. There is a menu button in the upper left, but it is not configured. If you click through to a post, there is more on the sidebar, but it’s generic links that come with the WordPress theme. It would be useful to have an about page with directions for how creators can contact her and a list of the events she blogs. It seems as though her transition from German Style to this new blog was interrupted and not completed. But that does not take away from her high quality blog posts and pictures.
