Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I just discovered Jacques Valentine’s self-named blog and really love the fresh and avant-garde style that he creates. His pictures are great, too. Jacques approaches androgynous fashion in the best possible way, insisting that people can wear anything and still be a “boys to the bone.” Lookbook #473. For example, the dress and the collar are not even by the same creator, but doesn’t look like it was made that way.
- Dress: Spectacledchic - ophelia dress
- Collar: Insomniac Angel - Lolita detachable collar
- Hat: BOYS TO THE BONE - Punkare beret
- Socks: Versov - Comfov socks
- Shoes: Semller - Thumper boots
The next outfit is great streetwear.
At first glance this is just jeans and a tee, but the tee shirt is a dress. Even with this streetwear ensemble, Jacques shows how we need to shop in both the men’s and women’s department or maybe just have a cool clothing department.
- Hat: $$$ - Beanie SupBunny
- Dress: BOYS TO THE BONE - Twig dress grunge edition (COMING SOON!)
- Pants: BOYS TO THE BONE - Huvud jeans
- Shoes: Semller - Worn canvas Hi tops
- Socks: Semller & Hiemal - Basic sock collection
- Waist: FAKEICON - Nopun waist shirt
Devin Vaughn pointed me toward Jacques Valentine’s blog and it was such a find. I love his layout. It is beautifully simple and restrained. There is a small picture of him with his name, short bio, and in-world name. There is a black bar with links to pages for sponsors, a link to Flickr, Facebook, and his Marketplace store. There is a similar bar at the bottom. A toast pops up suggesting you subscribe to follow the blog. The posts have several pictures so details are highlighted and complete credits are provided. His style is wild and fun, ranging from streetwear to folk-inspired fashions and ultimate elegance. Jacques Valentine’s blog is a real treasure.
