Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Charlotte Chisholm’s post “Playtime” for her blog Charlotte’s Place is a fun post. I love the marionette strings and love the humor in it.

Charlotte’s Place is a no-frills blog. In fact, you might not even know it’s name if not for the black bar at the top with a Home and Blog link. Since most people will land on a post, not the Home page, the blog’s name is not visible. All of the information is accessed on the home page, a page many people may never see. That includes her social media, contact information, and even the name of her blog. However, she does have social media in the footer at the bottom.
The blog posts have a picture and very complete information. At first glance, you might think not, but that is because the featured items are big and bold and the other items are smaller and farther down the page. But they are there! I like the pictures with a short teaser rather than the entire post. Yes, that means clicking to see the posts, but it makes it easier to pick and choose what I want to look at. I would suggest she change the “Home” link by renaming it to “About” so a person is more likely to click. For most blogs, posts are fed into the home page, so we don’t naturally associate home with where to go for information. However, it seems she values a minimalist approach.

Hi Wagner & thank you so much for featuring my blog. I appreciate your feedback regarding my website and have taken a number of your idea's on board. Not being a web designer by trade I guess I never took into consideration the finer details you spoke about. Your feedback has now hopefully changed my site so that it is more user friendly without losing the no frills approach you spoke about. Thank you again.
Cheers Charlotte Chisolm
