Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Wow! Here I was just slow-paging down again and again past competent but same-old same-old snaps of avatars in lingerie or less, when “Sans Titre” popped out with its vehement black, white, and reds and the bold avant-garde style. It was so fresh it woke me up. It is one of many intensely editorial pics from Zynthea.
The next pic is all about the lips, check it out here:
“Seeing Eye Mouth” is a surreal portrait of a woman whose mouth curls in a sneer and then that mouth is copied and pasted in place of the eyes with eyelashes echoing the black and white shapes that suggest clothing. Splashes of red bisect the picture diagonally. I love everything about this.
“Out of My Hands” is a visual pun and a dramatically surreal picture with a touch of humor. Her torso looks like a torus. Is that pun as well? I love the hands at her elbows and wrists, holding the strings. Maybe it’s just me, but it reminded me of the birds holding a ribbon while they dress Cinderella.
Zynthea’s photostream is one unique and creative picture after another. Seriously, VOGUE should have such bold photographers. Her stream is a delight.
