Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Adam Cayden and friends recreated the famous “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” by an uncredited photographer doing publicity for Rockefeller Center in 1932. This made me think of David Trumble’s “Feminism at Work” that was the desktop illustration on my MacBook until it died. I began to wonder who else had done something similar.
And sure enough there are more, click here:
Busta Bad and Roy Mildor each took shots of the same scene (above) recreating the famous photo with their friends. Others who participated are Darkyn Dover and Dragonilla (who made the poses). The others who posed are tagged in the 2nd picture (by Mildor) but they either did not take a snap or simply have not posted it. No matter, they surely must have had fun hanging out waiting for everyone to rez.
I had originally planned to focus on Adam Cayden and his great photos of him enjoying SL and SL roleplay, but his picture sent me off on a tangent and those are the best kinds of pictures. I wonder if there are more photos in homage to famed real-life pictures? If you know of some, post a link.

This is another recreation that was made recently. I like it even more as they made it in a funnier way :) - https://flic.kr/p/2oPA1wx
