Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
“The Ship” is inspired by a Pablo Neruda poem. Well, that made me like it all on its own. My high school Spanish teacher was a Neruda lover and she passed on the fandom. But look at that picture. Her use of bright light and high contrast to blow out all but the essentials, the sea grasses and boat are nearly the only visible elements. It is a bold, confident picture by someone who knows what she wants to express.

“Su shi” is a beautiful picture of two cats at play with a link to the Su Shi sim in the description. I love the bright colors and Moon’s decision to focus on the cats. I know in history and politics, many of us do not see the forest for the trees. In photography, it seems people often cannot see the trees for the forest. Moon sees the trees and the forest.
“Lovers: Solveig” is a picture that took me by surprise. At first glance, it was a typical romantic picture with a lovely romantic couple backlit by the sunlight over a sparkling sea. But a closer look changes the entire tone of the picture. I just love the surprise of it.
Moon’s photostream is full of landscapes, pictures of animals, and people, mostly backlit by beautiful sunscapes. She has an eye for both the big picture and the small details and has the confidence to shoot pictures that are blown out or nearly completely in shadow. It’s fun to see so much experimentation.
