Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Maasya excels at photos catching people in the act of being people. For example, who has not gone nose-to-nose with this terrifying fanged quadruped? She captures the strange relationship between humans and their feline overlords that is characterized by devotion on the one side and bemused curiosity on the other. The eye contact is everything.

Thanks to the ubiquitous commercial, “Easy Breezy” makes me think of Cover Girl, but that’s not what is happening here. I like the story telling element even though I am not sure what story is being told. The music video “Easy Breezy” by Chelmico was no help but seeing it is also called “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” makes it much clearer. I ended up watching a few Chemilco videos, including “Player” and “Balloon.” They look like they’re having so much fun. Bonus: finding an enjoyable singing duo. I really loved the instrumentation for “Player.”
What could be more slice-of-life than carry stuff home from the store? And they are not filled with gasoline! I love this picture. You can see her use of the Rule of Thirds with her avatar’s placement and the street horizon. She’s looking toward the window and into the frame. All good composition techniques to draw us in.
Maasya’s photostream is fun. She has such a variety of pictures, often demonstrating a universal sense of humor that I can’t resist. When I look at her work, I smile, sometimes she makes me laugh. Having an effective emotional appeal with humor is hard and she succeeds without breaking a sweat.
