Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Jayce Takeda and friends sure are having fun. They seem ready to hit the beach at Sunvana and find respite from the heat wave. I love group shots and this is a great one. Folks are having fun and fooling around but you can still see everyone. At least in Second Life no one is going to sneeze at the wrong moment and ruin the picture. (Well, unless they have that in their head animation loop. Turn that thing off for pictures!)
The next is a picture of heartbreak if there ever was one, click here:
This was inspired by the song “Last Dance” by the South Korean band BIGBANG. I found a lyrics translation and they are definitely heartbreaking. The pose is what signals the heartbreak. Without that hand raised to support him as he falls apart, he could just be some guy using a payphone to call roadside assistance.
I will listen to this song with you
And dance for the last time
Remember this moment
Forever if you must
Just one last dance
“Young Folks” is also inspired by music. This time it is an instrumental song called “Young Folks” naturally. It’s by City of the Sun. Doesn’t he look the epitome of the young man about town? He posts several pictures, often with great styling, so I thought he was a blogger but checking his about page, I learned he makes poses for Moments Pose Store. No wonder he was able to find such perfect poses. He made them.
I love Jayce Takeda’s stream. His pictures are rich with detail and he provides SLurls for his location shots, and not just to Sunvana that turns out to be his own sim. He often provides mood music and I am thrilled to be introduced to City of the Sun, whom I will look for more music from as I love instrumental music. I love the completeness of his pictures, the way the avatars, the action (the posts), and the clothing are all congruent with the setting. Thanks to Kaelyn Alecto for the tip.
