Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I had to check out this post from Kyoka Jun on her blog, or should I say blogs? She lets her readers filter her content. It’s a unique approach that some readers might appreciate. The post is titled “Sealed Kisses” and I love seeing a gown. Sometimes it feels like nobody blogs clothes anymore, just lingerie and swimwear. That’s not true, of course, but it can feel like a treasure hunt at times.
I was also incredibly curious about the giant lipstick she was sitting on. Sadly, that was not answered by her post, of course, it could be part of a background somewhere. I am always a bit disappointed when the reason I click through is not answered, but I thought her blog was unique and interesting, so I wanted to share it anyway. The pose comes from a pose HUD that was released for Vintage Fair but that closed Sunday, so look in the store. I like that since she did not use all the poses, she posted the vendor ad for the pose hud so her readers could see all the poses.

“Perfume at Night” is a recent post from her Blogger’s Photo blog. I love the photo that features the “floating fantasy” trope. I love that she is floating in space. Kyoka wrote, “The scent of cherry blossoms at night tickles my heart, and ephemeral memories come to my mind and disappear.” I love it when bloggers add a little bit of their personality and isn’t it a universal truth that a scent can evoke memories, even ones thought lost in time?

I think I understand the purpose behind Kyoka Jun’s dividing her blog into five separate sub-blogs, though she could achieve the same effect by assigning each post to a category. Readers could click on their favorite categories: kawaii, gothic, dark fantasy, artististic, and fashion. This would also make it easy to add new categories like cyber or steampunk, etc. I think it would be less work for her and less confusing for readers. The site is on wix and I am unfamiliar with using wix so perhaps it does not offer categories, but then she could use tags. I will confess, though, it was kind of fun seeing the different intro galleries for each sub-blog. As it is, anyone interested in seeing the range of her work has to go to Flickr or Instagram.
I like that she provides a link to the mainstore as well as the event an item is introduced at. That way, if the event is over, we still have a way to find it unless it was exclusive to the event. She is very good about putting all her social media information in her About pages and her posts. On her home page, she also has a location page where she lists many of her favorite places for taking pictures. It’s a lovely resource. And now, here are her blogs.
