Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Dama is a lovely blog from Damatjo Magic. I love her Sunny Afternoon post. The picture is lovely. She used the Rule of Thirds in placing her avatar and it gives the picture such great balance. I love her blouse with the lace on the yoke and sleeves. And who doesn’t love a truck full of flowers. She points out that the braid can be worn on the left or right. I only wish that she told us where to get the blouse.

I love that she shows the backdrop as a backdrop, pulling back the screen so to speak. It makes for a great picture. The picnic table and the antique pots form a sort of frame for the central elements, the porch backdrop and the loungers. It’s lovely. It would be nice, though, to know the credits for the other items.

Dama is a beautiful blog but she misses the opportunity to amplify her work by not including links to her social media and Flick or any information about her so other creators who like her work might add her to the bloggers they work with.
In the same vein, leaving out details on the clothing and decor means the people who created those items might never consider her, because she did not detail their work in the past. I understand the impulse to only blog those items you are given by creators, but it will limit appeal to other creators who may be looking at the blog and asking, “What am I? Chopped Liver?” What I love about her blog, in addition to her great pics, is that she provides narrative introductions to her posts that provide details about the items she does blog.
