Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Maka Orion lives an adventurous Second Life. If “You Learn the Most When You’re On the Edge” is true, he’s got a Doctorate in SLiving. By putting this pic on the diagonal, he makes it so much more interesting. I like that the avatar is moving toward us rather than away. I think it increases our connection to the avatar and our hopes for his success.
Oh, wow, he’s doing it again -- click here:

This picture has the same title and sure enough, he’s on the edge again. I used to walk across the Burlington Northern railroad trestle across a deep ravine over Ruffy Brook. Half the thrill was the danger, though there was very little danger of a train coming. While this water looks scarier, it probably is safer. Falling into water usually is. While this picture is closer to straight, it’s still at a bit of an angle. Again, he is walking toward us which I like.
“Don’t Wait For Everything to Be Perfect Before You Decide to Enjoy Life” is great advice. It reminds me of “The perfect is the enemy of the good,” a slight mistranslation of Voltaire and isn’t apt that the translation is not perfect. I once had a huge poster made with this on it and gave it to a colleague who was writing a training manual because he kept “polishing” it for months and months. Maka Orion is not waiting. I am curious what they are looking at. I love the rich black and white detail. You can see the grain in the wood. It’s just gorgeous.
Maka Orion’s ohotosteam is a lot of fun. It’s full of action and activity. Of course, there are avatar portraits and they are also excellent, but I love the slice of life photography he embraces.
