Nimue Green’s intense black and white photostream is filled with photos such as this gorgeous “Vintage” The lines of the street draw us into the picture. I know it almost seems real but it is on the sim Sobe (click here to teleport). The sun is bright, the shadows are crisp and black. The contrast is rich and intense. It’s marvelous.

“Soul” could easily have been purely symmetrical, but she turned just enough to make it not and thereby made it more interesting. I really love this picture. I particularly like that it is just off center. It was taken at Black Kite.

“Piano” will look familiar to most readers. It’s from Memento Mori. (Click here to teleport.) The brilliant sun-drenched cathedral with the rich shadows create a remarkable example of chiaroscuro, the contrast of light and shadow. 

Nimue Green’s photostream is a remarkable example of intense black and white pictures with high contrast. It is reminiscent of Ansel Adams whose black and white pictures were also rich in contrast and detail. Her stream is stunning.
