Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Myth’s photos are mostly black and white. They are universally excellent. I love “The Cellist” and love that he links to an excellent performance of Astor Piazzola’s “Oblivion” by Stjepan Hauser who is more well-known as part of the 2Cellos duo who perform “cello-rock” and were the focus of a documentary. The music is beautiful and so is the picture. I love how realistically his hands are posed and how the star of the picture is the cello. Just as it should be.

“Midnight Walk” is a stunning picture. I love the detail. You can practically see the weave in his hoodie’s fabric. I love all the lights blurred by the use of depth of field. I just hope he’s walking on the sidewalk because a person dressed in black walking down the side of the road in a black hoodie is hard to see. His song choice is “Don’t Keep Driving” by The Paper Kites:
Half of this city turning their lights on
Like half of this city has an idea
Cars slowly passing right down on main street
Don't keep on driving, let me say something
If he’s walking down the road in the dark, he definitely doesn’t want anyone driving.
This untitled picture is the oldest on his short photostream and it’s amazing. I love that it is a different color but still monochromatic. The light on the water is magical. It feels like the last bit of full sunlight late in the day, flashing on the water but the darkness of the evening is coming in. He links to the song “Spanish Sahara” by Foals. I can see the connection visually, the flashes of light in the waves in the picture and the light of the ice melt on the waves in the video seem to go together. The picture, though, is beautiful and contemplative. The song talks of the horror here, the fury in your head. Perhaps that is the reason for the color choice, the color of fury.
Myth’s photostream is short, only 27 pictures. But they are every single one fabulous. He also finds intriguing music choices for each photo.
