Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Roberta’s blog Dear Star had a recent post that cracked me up. This post from September 11th has a backdrop to die for if you’re a blogger. I love that she used green throughout, even coordinating her lingerie. A lot of women like to choose lingerie to match their outfit, but matching walls is less common.

I like the pose she used in this post from September 8th. It is great for showing off shoes and works with this dress with no waistline or other features that could be obscured.
Blog Assessment - Pluses & Minuses
Dear Star is a very minimalist blog with some nice touches. She provides her picture of her avatar styled in the items she features. They are credited with landmarks to stores and also to Marketplace. She also includes the creators’ vendor photos so if an item comes in several colors, you can see that. When there is an event, she usually includes both starting and closing dates. This is great. She does not include credits for everything, though, which was disappointing as I love the hair in the first picture. She also doesn’t provide any social media or About Me information. This means someone who admires her blog might not find her Flickr to follow or be able to ask if she wants to blog for their store or event. Just adding a simple about me page with links could increase her exposure quite a bit.

Love it! As a distance learning course in the creative process in fashion design explains, we have to be passionate about the world of fashion and the world of creativity to come up with design solutions as these.
