Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
“Jaqcuis” is the name of the blog and the avatar. Jaqcuis Encargues to be exact. I love this post Storytelling Comes to Live for its subtle approach to the coming frights and horrors of Halloween. The danger is foreshadowed in the text, “Oh dear, how uneasy I feel?” She’s not quite The Second Witch in Macbeth, but there is the “by the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes” feeling in the text and in her glance over the shoulder. And of course, every endangered fairy tale heroine deserves a good dress and headband.

You really need to see both pictures in the post To Be Reborn. I love the storytelling aspect of the images together. In the first (above), I love how the lab coat seems to merge with the bright light reflecting off the armature. It makes the scientist seem to be a part of the machine. I love the second picture and how it shows just the body, the head and feet cropped away so it’s this mass of coiled snakeskin. With it being almost all one color, it’s even more powerful.

I love Jaqcuis’ blog. It features both men and women’s fashion with some organically androgynous styling as well. The header makes that clear with a man on the left and a woman on the right. Above the header there are links to an About Me, Sponsors, Basics about the avatar body, contact and social media info. The only text beside credits are written right on the pictures. It’s well-organized with everything you are likely to look for right above the banner photo. The sidebar allows you to like and follow the archives, recent posts, and tags. There is nothing I would change about its design, though I think the post calendar is unnecessary. Since he has Ko-Fi on his about page, I would replace the calendar with his link to Ko-Fi. And of course, I am going to recommend adding creators’ names to the credits in case they rebrand or move. I love the bold pictures and innovative styling. Jaqcuis is definitely someone to follow.
