Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
HotDog has a photostream full of ghoulish fun. I love his macabre pictures. Most of his work is for vendor pics for his eponymous store, but he also includes a few wonderful story-telling scenes. For example, “This way or that way?” suggests the meeting of two opposites on a road. He is an extreme ectomorph and she is an endomorph, he is formally dressed and she is anything but formal, a regular Jack Sprat and partner, but a picture that seems to be taken by someone who likes them both. There is a fondness for the people that comes through.

“R.R.” is a macabre raw photo from HotDog. Most of us have been told “Don’t judge a book by its cover” or some similar maxim all our lives. But we do. That’s human nature. But come on, doesn’t this guy feel like a villain. Maybe it’s from Disney Movies, but I always associate those huge sideburns with villainy. And who but a villain would be walking around with an exposed digestive system? R. R. is one weird dude and he’s comfortable in his skin - or lack thereof.
“Porcupine” reminds me of “A Fistful of Datas,” the exploration of Western movie tropes in the Holodeck. He has the attitude needed for a showdown at the OK Corral, but a very steampunk, cyborg, decidedly macabre OK Corral. I love it.
I think you should just check out HotDog’s photostream, including the vendor pics. His vendor pics are still beautifully done and are well worth enjoying. If I had my druthers, he would post them with and without the product information so I could feature some of them, too.

I remember Porcupine! He was an amazing character for a short lived Mad Max themed region a few years ago. HotDog makes excellent avatars!
