Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
SuTol’s picture of the sim “Wo Qui Non Coin” [teleport here] just grabbed me. As beautiful as the bucolic sims are, I am always entranced by sims that capture the frenetic energy of a city. She includes a link to a song of the same name. I love the energy of the city.
Never fear, SuTol can do bucolic as well, click here:
“The Colors of Renoir” is a beautifully composed picture. For some reason, she claims she does a poor job of doing landscapes, but I love her work. In this picture, with the dock and boat as foreground and the river as a leading line, you are drawn deep into the landscape. She notes the colors and impressionistic quality of the sim’s design. “Bring you here…” shows how a great landscape photo can be small and personal, not broad and panoramic. This is from the sim Hasunohana [teleport here] The rocks and flowers curve and lead our eyes into the picture.
SuTol’s photostream is a delight. She has great avatar pictures and pics with her partner. She’s a posemaker, co-owner of Boo'D Up.oses, so there are some great naturalistically posed pictures, but I really love her landscapes. I appreciate that she describes the sim and how it makes her feel.
