NEOS Klaar’s “Come At Me” is a great example of cyber-chic fashions. Her identity is hidden from facial recognition surveillance and protected from any blows or falls. She has the wide stance recommended by self-defense instructors. She’s ready to rumble. I love the blue, black, and purple tri-color palette.

In “I’m not sure I want to call you,” she has found an artifact from ancient history, a pay phone. She’s illuminated by the phonebooth’s light which is a temporal anomaly since all payphone lights are broken within minutes of their replacement by a standing order of TPTB. I am almost certain this payphone is in a different multiverse because it is clean, beautifully lit, and adorned with ivy. It is far too pleasant to be a payphone on this timeline.
This is a contest photo for a Neo-Japan event. I love how powerful she looks. I can imagine those hair sticks dipped in poison, carefully placed in her hair so she does not absorb any of the toxins, but ready to kill at a moment’s notice if she needs their sharp, pointy bite. The look in her eyes is what my cat looks like when I won’t let her bite my hand, narrowed and threatening. Her hand is positioned in a more defensive move, but don’t let that full you. She’s dangerous.
NEOS Klaar’s photostream is exciting. Every picture tells a story, most of them full of action and adventure, mostly in some cybernetic dystopia. There are many cultural touchstones updated for the cyber-future, for example, a cyber umbrella hat. I love the rich imagination that inspires these pics and browning her stream fires my own imagination.
