Grace Ashwell is the name of the blogger and the blog and it is quite a lovely blog. Carrot Cake is a post about a new horse they rescued. Grace tells the whole story.
“This is Carrot Cake, our rescue mare! Granny adopted Carrot Cake from the ~Let's Save All the Ponies~ rescue a month ago. Carrot Cake is a little bit scared of new humans, she suffered a lot of neglect before being rescued. ;-;
Today I took her to the Evergarden Equestrian to be checked out by their vet. Carrot Cake is being trained in manners, groundwork, and riding. She's learning fast and becoming more confident each day.:

The Last Harvest has Grace at the farm. She explains, “Here at the farm we are harvesting our vegetables before the first frost hits. We are also getting our pumpkin patch ready! Her outfit looks great for picking vegetables. She is right in keeping with the Midwest tradition of picking the last of the vegetables before the front and getting a picture to show them off. My Facebook was full of pictures of my nieces and nephews’ last harvests when the weather service predicted frost.

Grace Ashwell is a lovely blog. It is beautifully designed with the blog name in an elegant All Caps banner. Above the banner are links to her sponsors, Marketplace, Press(!) and other pages on the right side are icons that link to her social media. Everything is designed to be subtle and unnoticed unless you look for them. I like that minimalist approach. She credits everything, including poses and landmarks when they are open to the public. While she doesn’t always add a bit of story, I love that she sometimes will. The only recommendation I have for her is one I have for everyone, listing the names of creators with the credits in case they move or rename their store. It’s really a beautiful blog.
