Core, the Epic-funded "ROBLOX but built on Unreal" platform, is soon going to add a video streaming option for its creators, giving them (as a spokesman tells me), "the ability to stream directly into the games, worlds and events they create." It's being previewed tomorrow in a live, in-world stream of Geoff Keighley's widely watched Game Awards show, in a Core-based world that Geoff himself executive produced: Axial Tilt.
Core PR is describing the event as the show's "FIRST METAVERSE EXPERIENCE ON CORE", which is somewhat odd, because Core's own CEO prefers to call Core a "multiverse" and not a metaverse. But then again, he said that 9 whole months ago before a decades' worth barrage of Metaverse buzz.
Anyway, here's how to join the live watch:
Axial Tilt is available for free on Core today at www.coregames.com/games/
a9ea61/axial-tilt or players can take a portal directly from Core World, the starting hub world for all Core players. Core can be downloaded at CoreGames.com or the Epic Game Store.
