Mortisha BlackSoul Noctis [mortishablacksoul resident] concentrates on Goth imagery and fashions. This picture took me aback a moment before I saw the title was “Dollmaker.” At first glance, it looks like a serial killer’s walk-in cooler. But no, she’s merely making totally terrifying dolls. I kind of love how it went from disturbed to domestic with nine letters.

“Zauberfluch” is beautifully romantic full of flowers and a deer. I looked up what zauberfluch means, it’s a magical spell or a demon hex, depending, I guess, on your point of view. So is the deer someone transformed from human to deer? Or, seeing the relationship that is evident, maybe it’s a love spell.
“Spider Demon” is a thrilling picture. I love the spider outfit and the webbing from limb to limb. There are lots of spiders in Second Life, but this is definitely impressive.
Mortisha BlackSoul Noctis’ photostream is full of grim and gothic images. They are well-composed and carefully styled. She has just enough flickers of a more lighthearted sensibility to keep an element of freshness and surprise. If you love goth, she is a must-follow.
