Mayonnaise Dinglegagger may have the best name in Second Life. She also has an endlessly inventive and surprising photostream. The title is “Rain, rain, go away,” but how can it go away when it’s all wrapped around her. Rainclouds under an umbrella seem counter-productive, but also adorable. The interesting thing is they are not a set, in fact the umbrella and the clouds have different creators, but clever styling makes them seem a set. She also includes a link [click here] so you can see the original, unedited photo.

“Still Life” cracks me up. Here you have this very authentic looking very old parlor. And then there is the chairperson. I looked, asked myself “what is she wearing?” Looking closer, I laughed loud enough to scare my cat. I love how the light coming from “the other room” illuminates the ficus. Mayonnaise is definitely someone with a taste for quirky humor.
“The Lady of the House” is another quirky example. She perfectly creates the form of a Victorian picture, the ornate oval frame, the woman with her hair up and wearing a hat, and the pearls wrapped in several loops all suggest absolute gentility, but then her dress is sheer exposing her showing her breasts more clearly than is Flickr safe. There are lots of bared breasts in her stream but this pic is a favorite for the internal contradiction between the form and the content.
If you can browse through a page in Mayonnaise Dinglegagger’s stream without chuckling, I'll be surprised. I giggled repeatedly. I love her sense of humor and her commitment. She creates scenes that are so complete, such as in “Still Life.” She goes all in. I love it.
