Whitlock Guy Style is a streamlined blog by Luis Whitlock [luchofull Resident]. I was drawn to the post “It was a good day” because he looks so chill, and not just because he’s using the snowback left by snowplowing as a footrest. That expression is so exposed and open, it makes me think of cats or dogs rolling on their backs with their paws up in the air. His pants are cool, too, with the stripes, which not incidentally are echoed in the jacket which is some great styling. There are additional details on the décor in the post. amándote

This post title is the first verse of a rap called “Amándote” or “Loving You”  by the Cuban rapper, Al2 El Aldeano of the group Los Aldeanos (The Villagers.”  It’s a beautiful and heartbreaking song of being left behind that was new to me and sent me on a deep dive into the group's music. This picture suggests loneliness and despair with the barren landscape and the his slouched collapse against the building

I like Whitlock Guy Style. I think if I were a guy, I would feel comfortable with most of his fashion styling. It’s casual and comfortable. In fact, when he sort of dresses up, he looks uncomfortable, running his finger inside his collar to give himself room to breathe. This was in an amusing post I was tempted to add as a third. [Take a peek, here]  He gives his name as Luis Aaker on Flickr but his Facebook and blog are Whitlock, so let’s go with that. I like his blog. He gives fairly complete credits, including poses and elements of the “set design.” He gives two links for most items, the event and the mainstore where items can usually be found after an event. He includes no clarifying information, though, so when he lists the pose for the first item, I wonder if it is built into the chair or a separate sitting pose. Those kinds of details can be handy.
