The World That I Would is Jakobat Bergan’s fashion blog. I like his style. It’s relaxed and comfortable, but not sloppy. He looks like he thinks about what to wear, but not so much it distracts from more important things. I love this look with the shirt peeking out from the sweater, not tucked in and most importantly, with a straight hem. This tells you it’s not meant to be tucked in, it’s not sloppy, it’s style. This is all featured in his recent post 2560.

There is so much to like about Jakobat’s blog, his consistency not just in blogging regularly, but he has a coherent style. You don’t see him looking out of character just to blog something. His blog is simple with few bells and whistles, maybe too few, because he doesn’t promote himself very much. There are no links to his social media or even his Flickr. But he has many sponsors and blogs for several events according to the Events and Sponsors pages that are listed in the footer, so perhaps he doesn’t need to promote himself more.

2549 is another stylish outfit from Jakobat. I like the black on black shirt and jacket. It’s sophisticated, but still casual.
The World That I Would seems a great name for the blog, it is an incomplete sentence. Is it the world I would like, the world I would work for, the world I would escape? The answer is a mystery. Since Jakobat does not credit everything in his outfits, there is always a mystery unresolved. The name seems apt.
It seems that more and more bloggers are opting to only credit the items they received from sponsors. I think this is a mistake because people might come to your blog to find out who made an item you paid for and they will be disappointed. Who are you blogging for? Your readers or your sponsors? Besides, what if the person who made the trousers in the first picture sees the blog, thinks I might like to sponsor this guy Jacobat, but then they go to the blog and see their trousers are not credited, they might decide not to sponsor him after all. A lot of sponsors ask applicants to show how they have blogged their items in the past.
I still think The World That I Would is a good blog. With more complete credits it would be a great blog.
