Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Clifton Howlett captures me first thing every morning. I really cannot function without my coffee. I love the concentrated look on his face. It’s very “don’t bother me until I finish my coffee” which is good advice for everyone in the morning. All his pictures are black and white, giving them a classic feeling of power and permanence. He also uses Depth of Field beautifully.

“Buddys” is such a lovely picture. I love how it still feelsI like black and white in the foreground and the pale sun rises with its pastel colors. There is such a feeling of peace in this picture. It is full of quiet joy and the anticipation that is unstated but present every time we look to the sunrise.
“Different Ways” is one of those thousand-word pictures that express so much more than what is on the surface. You see them walking in different directions, but the fact that it is memorialized makes it more than just heading off on errands, but gives it significance and permanence. She is in focus and he is not indicating that she is the primary actor in this story, the leaver and he is the left. I don’t know this, but that is the story the picture suggests.
Clifton Howlett’s photostream is the story of his Second Life. You see him exploring different sims, enjoying the many places he visits. There are pictures of him with a loved one and with friends, including cats and other animals. He’s having a good time, but seems to enjoy his own company, too.
