Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Zynthea puts the avant in avant garde. They not only explore the boundaries of gender, but blur the lines between art and fashion. “Confusion” is an excellent example of how the boundaries are blown up. The coat and multiple pearl necklaces are definitely fashion, but then the jewels make the face look like it is breaking apart. It’s surreal and exciting, feeling as though caught in a moment of coming apart.

This Bowie fan cannot help but love “Press your space face close to mine.” I love that Zynthea does not just copy a Bowie outfit but instead creates something new that Bowie would definitely have worn if only he had Zynthea for a stylist. He missed out. For a world without Ziggy, this lovely reminder has me reaching for my iPod.
“I’ve always got something up my sleeve” is just perfect. It’s sort of hilarious, entire bouquets of roses in the sleeves, but it’s also beautiful and surreal. The floating flower attached to an eye patch, who thinks of things like that? Zynthea!
Zynthea;s photostream is one surreal picture after another, always fashionable, always exciting, always something you won’t see anywhere else. Their mind must be a fascinating place.
