Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Heléna Hohenstein’s photostream is short but very focused. The pictures are all vintage cosplay and they are lovely. I love “Waiting Around.” It is such a beautiful example of the Golden Ratio and framing, using the trees and the awning as a frame for the woman waiting at the table. Even though she is shown from far away and is small relative to the size of the picture, it is clear she is the focal point because of her flawless composition.

“Latest issue” is another excellent composition showing the same woman in, I believe, the same dress at the newsstand. This has an early-to-mid-twentieth century feel. There is the shorter hem, the block heels, the long, wavy hair combine to give it that vintage feeling.
“Shopping” is another great vintage pic. Like the other pics, it seems to be shot at 1920s Berlin, a sim recreating that short era of interwar Berlin where there was a feeling of excitement and liberation, a time of possibility.
Heléna Hohenstein’s photostream has only twenty-two pictures and many of them seem to be from 1920s Berlin. I noticed that I was most drawn to those pictures of her as though observed from a distance. There were also other great pics, including one that reminds me of La Maja Vestida, though the pose is different, the feeling is the same.
