Sparkly Fly or “A Dream in a Dream” is the cutest blog I cannot read. It’s a blog created by Andie {Andyylee] in Tumbler and is so very kawaii. Sadly for me, however, pale pink on white text is just not readable, but I do love the pictures. Anyway, with Playing with Fire, her avatar captured my attention so completely it was only on the third pass that I noticed the fire. I think it was the way she looks straight at me. Now if she only mentioned who makes that great hair.

Love Dive finds Andie playing tennis. It looks like she is ready to serve that strawberry tart, but will she serve it or will she serve it?

I love Andie’s pictures and would love her blog more if only the text were not pink. However, I can read it by highlighting the text which makes it white on black. But then, her page turns my cursor into a cursor with a bunny head, so it’s a bit harder to select text. The text color probably bothers me more than most people because I have a little night-blindness which makes low contrast scenes hard to see. She does have some text in black, but it’s the categories, not the store names, so the most important text is the hardest to read. Still, I can read it by highlighting. Otherwise, I like the simple, clear organization of her blog with one side bar that has a tiny bit about her, a link to her Flickr, and an introduction to the stores she blogs for. The main part of the front page has picks from her posts that you have to click on to see the credits. I like that. I like it when bloggers give us a reason to click on the actual post and not just the front page.
