Tea Break is a delightful post at Kurimu-Kuma, an adorable blog with great decor pics as well as fashion. Created by the bear-obsessed Kuma, cuteness abounds everywhere you look. This post featured a lot of items from the event Bloom that ended April 2nd, so items should be showing up in the stores soon, if not already. It caught my eye because I have had to reduce my caffeine intake thanks to some health issues and am exploring herbal teas. I am a bit obsessed with the shelf on the left. Of course, what I really want is that cutting board with the grapefruit.

Bath Times my love cracks me up because who really wants a heart-shaped toilet? Well, she does and she explains that it is crafted so you can set it have sparkles come out of it. The sink, which is also part of the set, has rainbow water as well as plain. She has several more pictures including one that shows you how she ends up with so much makeup on the floor. Her blog post even has tabs for two sets of credits, the featured items from the event and the “Supporting Cast” items that complete the scene. The items were at February’s Collabor88, so should be in the store now:
- Mirror: [+Half Deer+] Heart Wall Mirror (w/ crown) 1li
- Sink Vanity: [+Half Deer+] Heart Bathroom Vanity (Rainbow Water) 2li
- Toilet: [+Half Deer+] Heart Toilet *w/ sparkles* 3li
- Tissue Holder: [+Half Deer+] Heart Toilet Paper Stand – White 1li
Kurima-Kuma delights me. Not only is the motif of bears ever-present, but there are so many little details that make it a special blog.
For one, she writes about the items, describing certain special quirks they might have like rainbow-colored water. I love her banner where she describes what you can do on her blog rather than having just page titles. It’s cute and clever. I love the tabbed credits with the featured items and the supporting cast. These are just cute little things I haven’t seen before but that enchant me. When I went to her site, I went to Kurima-Kuma dot com but saw the logo said dot moe. Sure enough, she has registered her site with both top-level domains. I had never seen dot moe before so I Googled and learned it is based on a Japanese slang term ‘moe’ which means something intended for marketing or advertising. Talk about truth in advertising.
All of which leads me to say you definitely need to keep your eye out for Kurima, her blog and her bears are excellent.
