Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
We are on the wrong side of Kou’s weapon in 234. She numbers the pictures she uses for her microblog, using the Twitter description space for credits. I love her use of the CMYK colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) used in printing. They are such bold colors and from those four come all the glorious colors seen in magazine and color photographs. I love how she presents as a threat with a smile on her face. The contrasts are delicious.

Wow, Kou is quite the swashbuckling adventurer. I love her headdress and how the sword seems an extension of it, the same color, the same feeling antiquity and tradition. Look at the intensity of her eyes. Kou is taking no prisoners. Well, maybe one, see picture 207 [click here.]
In 55 she has a cyborg-style weapon attached, like a mega-dangerous backpack with arms. I kind of love how over-the-top this is. And then there are the daisies, a hardy flower.
Kou’s photostream has something for everyone. I chose to highlight her action pictures, but I could just as easily picked the sweet-as-syrup pictures of her eating foot and looking cute, or her many kawaii pictures, her Lolita or her circus pics. She has many photographic interests and she indulges them all and always with a meticulous eye for detail, an explosion of color and light, and a setting that is perfect for the picture. She is not to be missed.
