Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Some pictures are just so striking all I can do is say “Wow!” and sit back and enjoy them. This is a Wow! picture. I love the layers of mountains in the background giving the picture depth and texture. I love that we can see the knots in the rope webbing. Joanna Kitten has mastered the art of Second Life landscape photography. I was wondering if this was really SL or some video game when I saw the teleport link. Yes, she makes SL look this good. She described this as the best sea she has seen in Second Life. “For Those In Peril” is amazing, isn’t it? I love that she did it in black and white. That seems to increase the sense of jeopardy. [Teleport Link Here]
“Flower Power” is such a fun picture with the old, decaying wreck a colorful competitor for attention with the glorious wildflowers surrounding it. Somehow they seem to go together, don’t they? And even more so with Joanna’s chosen accompaniment, “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.” [Teleport Link Here]
Joanna Kitten is an excellent landscape photographer who has her own gallery, Ammonite Photography & Gallery, and who occasionally does talks sharing her advice on how to shoot landscapes. Most of her pics are just as they are seen in Second Life, though she sometimes “tinkers” in Affinity. Not only are her landscapes wonderful to look at, she always includes the SLURL and the text she uses for her link almost always cracks me up. You will have to see for yourself.
