For group chat, peep this hilarious D&D alignment chart by Redditor u/TheTrickyDoctor. Personally I'd put Second Life into the Chaotic Neutral category, but that's just me. It was posted in Reddit's VRChat group, so assume a bias there.
And if you want the creator's summary, read on:
Little Big Planet gives players freedom to create their own works. Placed by recommendation.
Minecraft rides the line on this but generally the gameplay is up to the player, it also has an array of servers with custom gamemodes and not to mention the plentiful mods and resource packs, and also the bedrock store. Placed as it generally harbors a chill atmosphere unless its something like 2B2T
VRChat I shouldn't really have to say anything but the entire game depends on user created avatars and worlds, placed for its generally chaotic nature in my experiences playing 1k hours since 2018
Dreams is the same as LBP, giving players freedom to create their own works in it. Placed because it harbors a pretty good community from what I've heard.
Nintendo's Mario Maker and Game Builder Garage give players the freedom to make their own Mario levels and games. Placed because honestly gives that vibe.
Garry's Mod is extremely customizable with people using the source engine to every extent it can go, placed for its generally chaotic nature that can swing either way.
Roblox depends entirely on its playerbase to not only create games (or experiences now as they're calling it) but also custom content for player's avatars. Placed mostly for its predatory nature towards creators.
Spore is similar to Minecraft in how its gameplay is entirely up to the player, and an entire gallery of all the creatures people have made in it. (Tbh could swap this out with Sims due to the insane amount of custom content it has, and EA's evermore shiftiness in handling it) Placed for being relatively a letdown for many people and the many issues it had near launch dragging it further.
Second Life similarly to VRChat, it depends on its playerbase to create worlds and avatar content for it. Placed for its reputation of controversies of many kinds.
Via Adeon.
I appreciate the information and advice you have shared.
