Endless Summer is an emotionally evocative avatar photographer. This image title references “W.D.Y.W.F.M, What Do You Want From Me?”, a popular song from The Neighborhood [to listen, click here.] The song and the picture capture the angst of a bad relationship just as he is beginning to wonder if maybe he is not the reason the relationship does not work

“Baby Blue” is on the surface a more chill picture, but look, he’s got the chair and umbrella set up for two, but there is only one. [To listen, click here.] I think he captures the emotional context of the accompanying song well:
Cool, baby blue
Tell me what I'm gonna be
Been livin' in the empty suite, hey
I'm never gonna last, never gonna last
I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna stay
I don't wanna feel it, take it all away
Oh, I'm still the same kid that I used to be
I'm runnin' from everything, ah, ah, ah
“On the Train Ride Home” is also a song and title [to listen, click here] I admire how well he captures the emotional context of a song while avoiding a replication of the music video. Now he just needs to find a happy song.
Endless Summer is an excellent photographer. His pictures are beautifully composed and he makes frequent use of the rule of thirds, having the subject look into the frame, and using leading lines. He knows how to compost, but his great skill is capturing the emotional context of the songs that inspires his pictures.
