Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Drew Lukas’ “Aberration” is phenomenal. It makes me think of the cover for some James Bond thriller. I love how it overlaid a red version on top of a blue creating a kinetic energy to a static pose. It’s all very sharp and exciting. His stream is also exciting, full of a wonderful mix of tastefully erotic pictures and creative surreal pieces that are breathtaking.

“Awaken” shows the magic of framing. They are clearly a several thousand miles short of touching the moon, let alone awakening it, but framing erases all 238,000 miles. It’s a lovely, romantic picture.
“Fulcrum” takes a turn for the unexpected by being horizontal rather than vertical. Most of the time, this irritates me, but not in this case. It works because really there is no reason we need to look at a dive from behind. I love the geometry in this picture, the balance of lines and angles. So beautiful. It reminds me of a conversation with a friend last night who had recently encountered someone who could not think of a reason to teach math. We tried, but failed, to think of anything in life not affected by math. I mean my cat jumping at an insect is not doing calculations, but her movement is governed by physics.
Drew Lukas’ photostream is amazing. I struggled picking pictures because I wanted to choose all of them. That means you simply need to go there and browse.
