Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I almost did not blog about this lovely blush-colored dress and earrings because when I saw it was by Khitten Kurka, I was certain I had already blogged about her since she is an OG blogger. Just to be sure, I did a search. How in the world did I not blog about (k)iss (k)iss, her wonderful fashion blog? If you’re an OG blogger or photographer and I have overlooked you because you are so woven into my mental landscape, let me know. The dress is a winner for everyone since it is made with one of the four universal colors that suit all skin tones.

- earrings – kaya earrings by LaGyo

Khitten asks What would Chai wear? I don’t know who Chai is but she knows how to dress professionally without being boring and colorless. The bright yellow with black and white looks brilliant and avoids the trap of looking like a bumblebee that sometimes happens with those colors. I love the white boots and she posted this before Labor Day if you’re silly about rules that are meant to be broken. In college, a teacher actually called out another student for wearing white shoes in January and then proceeded to lecture us on shoe fashion rules (It was in Spanish in Spanish class, so I guess legitimate but that poor woman.) Why do people feel free to call out others on such personal choices? So the links to Miss Jones took me to residences and I could find nothing on Marketplace or in Search so it looks like the store may be closed. If anyone knows the whereabout of By Miss Jones, please comment below.
- dress – london calling II by miss jones
- boots – sigourney boot, white by slink
- earrings – winnie earrings by [fetch] on Marketplace
- handbag – play, white by [ddl]
(k)iss (k)iss is a well-organized blog with all the information you need to find her and her Flickr. She has pages for her review policy, stores she blogs for, and where her blog is syndicated. She does not provide links to take you to the store or marketplace which is fine and complies with Flickr’s policy. She could however list the desginers’ names so we could look at their profiles to find the landmark.
Other than that, though, I love everything about her blog. Including her story of some very rude women commenting on her avatar. First, they were mannerless, cruel, and crude. Second, they were ignorant of how our obsession with thinness grows out of our fear of Blackness. See “Fearing the Black Body” by Sabrina Strings. Third, they are also ignorant of the idea that the goal is to be healthy. See Health at Every Size. Like that Spanish teacher, they thought their opinions mattered more than someone else’s feelings, happy to embarrass them in public over some cultural concept that is outdated and silly. .

Huzzah for OG blogger Khitten. If you see her in-world, it is always worth your time to find out what she is wearing.

Thanks for the feature! So sweet of you to showcase one of my recent posts.
Please note that I always list what I am wearing. You can usually find the style credits after the "read more" line!
For this particular look, I used clothing from a currently closed store. I often "go shopping" in my inventory as a way to make older items new again.
Hope this helps!
@CronoCloud, from one OG blogger to another, THANK YOU! ;)
