Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Michael Lysios lives in a very beautiful world that he shares with us on Flickr, with pictures that show places in Second Life as we’ve not seen them before. It’s just all so beautiful. And he adds a SLURL so you can teleport to see the place yourself. The sky in “Cherishville” is stunning and I love how the line of the road is accentuated by the bushes and then the fence. It directs our eyes, but so subtly. [Teleport here]

“The Bridge Less Traveled” gives us an introduction to the seasonal change from summer sun to autumn fun. Again he is using the bridge and road to lead us into the picture. The sky is gorgeous though heavy with rain. [Teleport here]
His “Frogmore Autumn Grove” picture shows how you can create lines that lead the eye into a picture without a road. The angle he used creates an ess curve from the boat to the dock to the flowers as beguiling as any road to draw in your eyes. [Teleport here]
Michael Lysios’ stream is full of beautiful pictures of the Second Life flora, but he shoots some fauna as well, mostly himself with his motorcycle. He also loves to shoot Halloween pics. He enters photo contests that sometimes see him going in a wildly different direction from his usual work and I am totally here for it. I mean, if Edvard Munch were an SL photographer, he would do something like this.

Enjoyed this look into SecondLife photography. Micheal Lysios is as talented as they come. He and his partner Kacey MacBeth show SL in the best way with artistic expressions that tells a story. SL photography is not an easy thing to master but Mikey and Kacey make it look flawless. Thanks for artcile!
